Immanuel Baptist Church Services
Sunday School 9:15-10:15 a.m.
Immanuel offers Sunday School classes for all ages that are focused on learning and applying the Word of God in order to better know Christ and make Him Known.
- Primary Sunday School- For children aged 5-10 years old uses Piper's Children Desiring God Sunday School material.
- Middler Sunday School- For children aged 11-13 uses Piper's Children Desiring God Sunday School material.
- Junior High and High School Sunday School uses various Bible-based curriculum.
- Adult Sunday School- an interactive expository teaching time.
Sunday Morning Worship 10:30-11:45 a.m.
Our worship service includes at time of corporate praise and prayer that makes use of a blend of traditional and contemporary songs, as well as a time of expository Bible teaching. We believe that the Word of God is the means by which the Holy Spirit brings sinners to repentance, and the primary means through which He brings believers to Christian maturity. The Sunday morning worship service is a time set apart to have a corporate dialong with God, in which we yearn to hear Him speak to us through His Word and to respond together to His voice in faith, hope and love.
We observe the Lord's supper each month, usually on the first Sunday of the month. The Lord's supper is another important means of grace, a 'visible word' through which Christ reminds us of His steadfast love which led Him to offer Himself as the sacrifice for our sings through death on the cross, and through which He, as risen Savior and Lord, continues to offer us His fellowship and forgiveness. It is a time for us to hear Him speak and to respond with renewed repentance and love for Him in our hearts. It is a time of celebration as we await His return, when we shall have unbroken fellowship with Him forever. We reserve the Lord's supper for anyone who has confessed belief in Christ as their savior.
Fellowship Meal and Later Sunday Teaching
Most Sundays, we have a fellowship meal following our morning service. Following the meal will be a second teaching time. Currently, Pastor Brent is teaching through Immanuel Baptist Church's Confession of Faith.
Wednesday Evening Youth Activities- October 5th, 2022 -Spring, 2023- 6:30pm-8:00pm
Children Desiring God -- This is a program that runs throughout the school year for children kindergarten through sixth grade. The children take part in a worship time, a time of bible teaching and memorization, a time for activities or games and a story time (in which they hear stories read that help to teach and reinforce Christ-like living. Children Desiring God is developed by Desiring God.
Youth Group -- Junior High and High School age youth meet every Wednesday evening for a time of games/activities, followed by a time of Bible study.
